Hypnotherapists cannot give guarantees about the outcome of hypnosis because we are all different therefore treatments can work differently according to each person.

However, I guarantee that I will always work in your best interest, and I will apply my training, knowledge, skills and experience to the best of my ability in order to help you.

I am ethical therefore I would not offer a second session of hypnosis if you do not make progress from the first session of hypnosis.

We will work together to achieve your goals.

𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝘆𝗽𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱?

Most people can be hypnotised, although some people can be hypnotised more deeply and more easily than others.

You cannot be hypnotised against your will; it simply won’t happen if you don’t want it to.

Hypnosis is most successful with clients who are open-minded about trying hypnosis and willing to participate.

Having a good rapport with the hypnotherapist is essential for you to allow yourself to become hypnotised.

The hypnotherapist’s role is to facilitate hypnosis; however, the ease with which you become hypnotised depends on your willingness to be suggestible, meaning you are open to being influenced.

The success of hypnosis relies on your suggestibility to the hypnotherapist’s words.

Our minds are alert during hypnosis, therefore, our minds are able to reject anything the hypnotherapist says which does not resonate; likewise our minds will accept words which are beneficial and in line with the goals for changes agreed during therapy.

My client suffered with hay fever for several year

My client suffered with hay fever for several years and the hay fever was so uncomfortable that she didn't think she would be able to relax to have hypnosis.

I offered a session to get rid of the hay fever and after only one session, she no longer has hay fever.

When I asked her how she got on with the session for hay fever, she said, "oh I forgot that I used to have hay fever".

You don't have to suffer with hay fever when only one session can get rid of it.

No. The application of hypnotherapy, as well as the objective of hypnotherapy is very different to stage hypnosis and process and outcome are very different.

A hypnotherapist will be caring and compassionate while using their knowledge of the human psyche and their training and experience to help a client to achieve their therapeutic goals.

However; a stage hypnotist uses hypnosis purely for entertainment.

Dear 4 year old You

The first photo was taken not long after you had been in foster care with complete strangers. You were traumatised and you wet the bed for years; having already successfully toilet trained prior to being in foster care.

After the foster care, you lived with your parents who were verbally and physically abusive to one another as well as to you and your siblings. You grew up being told that your existence was a mistake and you would amount to nothing in life.
You were very insecure and angry and you struggled with confidence and a low self-esteem for many, many years.

You left home at age 16 because it was unbearable living there. You found work in a Holiday Fellowship Guest House, which provided a home and an income and that was the start of your journey of change and transformation.
You moved to America at the age of 18, to work with children and you shared an incredibly loving bond with a 7 week old baby who you cared for until he was 5 years old. You have maintained that special bond for four decades, you attended his wedding and you met his children.
You went on to enjoy many special bonds and created happy memories with other children over a period of 20 years and that enabled you to experience unconditional love which you yearned for.
Despite the difficulties and trauma you experienced, you have loved and cared deeply for many and transformed your mind and your life on so many levels.
You became a hypnotherapist 14 years ago and you have helped many people, like you, transform their lives!

I find that a lot of the children, who come to me

I find that a lot of the children, who come to me for hypnotherapy, struggle with anxiety and confidence.

Sometimes if a child is avoiding going to school, a child may not want to say that they are making progress because they know they will go back to school. Avoidance is a behaviour relating to anxiety.

Anxiety is a common experience for many people, and it can be overwhelming and debilitating when it becomes chronic. While there are many different strategies and treatments that can help manage anxiety, hypnotherapy is a powerful and effective treatment.

The sooner a child receives help, the better ability is to deal with life and its challenges.
