My Approach

  • Free 15-Minute Telephone Consultation: “We start with a free 15-minute call to discuss your child’s specific needs and to answer any questions you might have. This allows us to make sure that hypnotherapy is the right option for your child.”
  • 90-Minute Consultation Session: “This session involves gathering information about your child’s life, school, friends, and any challenges they are facing. We will complete an anxiety and depression questionnaire and assess if they are a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). This session does not include hypnosis.”
  • Personalised Hypnosis Sessions: Following the consultation, the sessions include hypnosis, lasting around 30-40 minutes each. During the session, your child is in a relaxed state, and they are fully in control. The session is recorded, and a copy will be sent to the parent or child, depending on the agreement reached.
  • Follow-Up Sessions: Further sessions can be scheduled depending on your child’s progress and the support they need. After 2-4 sessions, we may offer to teach your child Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

How Hypnotherapy Can Help Your Child

Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool that can help children overcome their challenges and reach their full potential. It can help reduce anxiety and stress, improve sleep, and enhance confidence.

The process helps children to make positive changes in how they think, feel and behave. The case study above is a good example of how hypnotherapy can benefit children quickly.

  • Reduce Anxiety and Stress
  • Improve Sleep Patterns
  • Enhance Confidence and Self-Esteem
  • Promote Positive Changes in Thoughts and Behaviours
  • Help children to feel more in control
  • Help children to manage difficult emotions

Understanding Highly Sensitive People

As part of our consultation, we will assess whether your child is a highly sensitive person (HSP). HSPs are often more aware of their environment and can experience emotions more intensely. Understanding this trait can help children to manage their emotions more effectively. Following the session, we will send you helpful information about HSP.

Your Child's Safety and Comfort Are Our Priority

We understand that the process of therapy can feel vulnerable and it is important that children feel safe and supported. We provide a safe and confidential space for children to explore their feelings and experiences. All discussions are kept confidential unless agreed otherwise. Your child will always be in control during the hypnotherapy sessions and the sessions will be recorded for added reassurance and reinforcement of the therapy.

What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?

·        EFT is a gentle technique that helps people to process and release difficult emotions that are stored in the body. After 2-4 hypnotherapy sessions, we may offer to teach your child EFT as an additional tool to manage their emotions.

However, depending on the age of the child, some parents can agree to waive their right to attend any of the first session, as well as waiving their right to know what is discussed during sessions, which often enables the child to be more open about themselves.
